Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) Questions

What is an LSRP?

LSRPs are environmental professionals with specific expertise and education in the environmental consulting field. They are licensed by the State of New Jersey to oversee and approve the remediation of contaminated sites.

When must I hire an LSRP?

LSRPs must be hired when a party: 1) Takes over the remediation from any other person or from NJDEP; 2) Addresses a site where the Department has rescinded a no further action letter or has invalidated a response action outcome; 3) Discovers or becomes liable in any way for a discharge; 4) Determines there has been a known or suspected discharge from a regulated tank system or is required to close a regulated tank system; 5) Is liable for compliance with ISRA; or 6) When there is a need to file a new deed notice or replace a declaration of environmental restrictions.

How much does an LSRP cost?

All LSRP projects are site specific and costs can vary considerably. Contact the team to discuss your LSRP requirements.
